Easy Light Glycometer-An investigational noninvasive, pain-free test for A1C and glucose

Patients

Easy Light Glycometer (ELG) is the first product designed specifically for patients with diabetes type 1 and 2, and is in the investigative phase to evaluate and measure both A1C and glucose without the pain and inconvenience of a finger stick or inserted device.

Easy Light Glycometer – what makes it different

  • Easy: The ELG device requires no needle sticks and does not draw blood like what you may be used to. Just insert your thumb into the ELG sensor and get readings in less than two minutes.
  • Convenient: It can be used as often as needed, and for some it may potentially eliminate the need for finger stick devices.
  • Efficient: ELG also will capture your readings electronically. It hopefully can provide useful information and may help you and your doctor to easily and accurately review your diabetes management plan.
  • Reliable: it was designed by doctors and scientists using advanced LED light technology and unique calculations to get readings that we hope to show through the trial are comparable to finger stick devices
  • Accurate: with the trial, we hope to prove that it is as accurate as a finger stick device without having to take blood
